Underrated "Hidden Gems" of North Sumatera
What's good people.
The tight schedule of urban communities, of course, requires rest or
refreshing, even if it's just to calm down. In this blog, I will take you on my
journal trip to my beautiful hometown, Berastagi.
Berastagi is a small town in North Sumatra. When people hear the word
North Sumatra, people will immediately go to Toba Lake. Berastagi is a very
underrated destination for healing. It only takes less than two hours to reach
Berastagi from Kuala Namu Airport and Medan Harbor.
From my experience to Berastagi. The culture in Berastagi is still very
thick and still very conservative, so it is hoped that it will maintain the
traditional values that exist there. However, there is a good value, that is,
we can see traditional houses there, people wearing traditional clothes,
weaving traditional clothes, and even dancing traditional dances.
Not only in terms of customs though, Brastagi is very beautiful with its
scenery. Can be used as a place for photos with family and friends, and Mount
Sinabung as the background. Brastagi is known in North Sumatra for its hot
springs. There we can heal while warming the body.
Enjoy my experience there and hope to see you visit soon...
